Sadie Marie King Carter

Sadie Marie King Carter 88 of Leesville, South Carolina formerly of McComas, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, South Carolina. Sadie was born on December 08, 1923 in McComas, West Virginia to the late Carla and Gertrude Wimmer King. She had been a resident of South Carolina for 29 years and a graduate of McComas High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luther D. Carter and one sister June Arbutus Pruett. Survivors Include: One Son: Luther Daniel Carter Jr. of West Virginia One Brother: Curtis King of McComas, West Virginia One Sister: Marcella Sigmon of Bluefield, West Virginia Very Special Friend and Neighbor: Betty Hilley Several nieces and nephews Graveside rites will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, West Virginia where Minister Eddie Via will conduct graveside rites.
