Maxine Birdie Lee Sigmon

Maxine Birdie Lee Sigmon 81 of Rt.1 Box 153 Bluefield, WV passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 01, 1930 in Durhing, WV to the late George and Etta Pierce Hurst. Maxine had been a resident of Rt. 20 for the past 21 years was a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years James Sigmon, one son Reggie Sigmon and one grandson Bobby Burgess. Left to cherish her memory: One Son: Richard Sigmon and wife Julia of Sandlick, West Virginia Two Daughters: Tammy Bailey and husband Ian of Sandlick, West Virginia Susan Windle of Princeton, West Virginia One Sister: Evelyn Stenski of Florida Seven Grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild A very special group of women who cared for MOM as if she were their own. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where Richard Sigmon II, Justin Neel, Mark Neel, Charles Goode and Joe Thompson will be serving as pallbearers.
