Geneva Ann Kowaleski

Geneva Ann (Suski) Kowaleski, age 89, of Switchback WV died Friday January 6, 2012 at Open Arms Hospice in Greenville SC. Born on July 8, 1922 in Gary WV, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Anne Suski. She lived in Switchback most of her life, spending the last 5 years with her son John and daughter Patricia in Greenville SC. She was a graduate of Elkhorn High School. She was married to the late Charlie Kowaleski for 53 years and they had 8 children together. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Richard and Husband Charlie. Survivors Include: Daughters: Charlotte A. Mabus of Switchback, WV Linda Webb and husband Randy of Marshalltown, Iowa Patricia L. Kowaleski of Greenville, SC Sons: Charles S. Kowaleski, Jr. of Orange, California Joseph A. Kowaleski and wife Donna of Bramwell, WV Bill Kowaleski and wife Tammy of Charleston, WV John D. Kowaleski of Greenville, SC 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell where the visitation will be preceded with a Catholic Prayer Vigil starting at 1:15pm. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm on Monday, January 9, 2012 with Father Paul Wharton celebrating a Christian Burial Service at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV followed by celebrating Entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell.
