Margaret June Hodges

Margaret June Hodges, age 88, of Route 3 Box 720, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Ridge Care Nursing Home in Princeton. Born on February 14, 1923 in Crystal, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Minnie Bryant Hicks. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 82 years and was a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Hodges; a son, Darrell Keith Hodges; a great grandson; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Larry Kent Hodges and wife Virginia of Fieldale, VA Daughter in law: Norma Hodges of Bluefield Grandsons: Kenny Hodges of Bassett, VA Dwayne Hodges of Fieldale, VA Keith Hodges and wife Jay of Grafton Great Grandchildren: Jenny Lee Hodges of Fieldale, VA William D. Hodges of Rocky Mount, VA MacKenzie Miles of Ferrum, VA Noah Hodges and Brooke Hodges of Grafton Great-Great grandchildren: Alexis Hodges and Breydon Hodges Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Minister Gary Lamie officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Keith Hodges, Howard Perkins, Darrell Powers, Jack Johnson, Fred Miles, Jimmy Belcher, and Wayne McKinney will serve as pallbearers.
