Barbara Ann Hubble

Barbara Ann Hodges Hubble, age 69, of 1203 Augusta Street, Bluefield, WV, and formerly of Lorton Lick Road, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on April 24, 1942 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of Doris Hodges and was a graduate of McComas High School. She had been a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area was a former employee of Lynn’s Drive Inn in Bluewell. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. “Eddie” Hubble. Survivors include: Son: Calvin Edward Hubble of Bluefield Special friends: Mr. & Mrs. Jim Davis of Rt. 3, Bluefield Kelly Hubbard of Rt. 2, Rock Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Dr. Donald Elliott, Rev. Larry Roberts, and Rev. Omar Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Calvin Hubble, Rick Sigmon, Kelly Hubbard, Brian Perkins, Buckie Lucado, and Darrell Bailey will serve as pallbearers. Jim Davis will serve as honorary pallbearer. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
