Freelin Boyd "Tinker" Southern

PRINCETON, WV---Freelin Boyd “Tinker” Southern, age 41, of 315 McKinley Ave. Princeton, WV passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born March 10, 1970 in McDowell County, WV he was the son of the late Brenda Tedder McClanahan and Emmitt Southern. Mr. Southern was a lifelong resident of the Princeton area and had worked as a Transformer Tech. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his one sister, Rhonda Christian. Survivors include, His wife, Rose Marie Southern of Princeton, WV Two sons, Michael B. Southern and Brandon L. Southern both of Princeton, WV Two daughters, Kandi and husband Michael Bailey of Princeton, WV Kari Southern of Princeton, WV Two brothers, Emmitt and wife Deanna Southern of Boones Mills, VA Terry Dean and wife Becky Southern of Princeton, WV Three sisters, Kimberly and husband Richard McKinney of Princeton, WV Tammy and husband Dale Flanery of Princeton, WV Rita Boggs of Salem, VA Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday December 30, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Minister Terry Lambert officiating.
