Joyce Ann Stamper

ANAWALT, WV---Joyce Ann Stamper, age 57, of P.O. Box 302 Anawalt, WV went to celebrate Christmas with her Daughter, Granddaughter, and Mother on December 25, 2011 at Welch Community Hospital. Born August 9, 1954 in Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Luther and Hazel Anders Ellis. Mrs. Stamper was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Anawalt. She had worked as a LPN for Welch Community Hospital. Mrs. Stamper attended the Long Point Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one Daughter, Margaret white and one Granddaughter, Taylor Dizon. Survivors include Her husband, Benjamin Shay Stamper of Anawalt, WV One son, Dustin Stamper of Anawalt, WV Three Daughters, Heather Stamper Dizon of Anawalt, WV Brittany White Katie White Three Grandsons, Austin Dizon, Morgan Stamper, and Robert Mitchell, Jr. Two Granddaughters, Chloe Dizon and Harleigh Dizon Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Jim Blevins officiating. Following the services the family will be honoring Mrs. Stamper’s wishes to be cremated.
