Mary Low Green, age 66, of Welch, died on Friday December 23, 2011 at the Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield.
Born on March 14, 1945 in Mohegan, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Stella Williams Bishop. She had lived in Bluefield for the past 6 years and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her whole family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Green; sister, Virginia Ruth Bishop; and brothers, Robert, Harold, Roy, Charles, and Willard Bishop.

She was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Alvin Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Belcher Cemetery on Belcher Mountain in Welch, WV. Her pallbearers will be Jarrid Farrington, John Tooley, L.B. Boreboom, Clarence Hensley, Robert Parker, and other nephews. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
