Bluefield- Allie Mae Shockley, 89, of 2809 Edgemont Dr., Bluefield, WV, passed away Sunday December 11, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born March 26, 1922 in Patrick Springs, VA, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton and Viola Rorrer Belton. Mrs. Shockley had been a resident of Bluefield for fifty-five years and was a member of the Cumberland Heights Baptist Church and was a devoted homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend M.S. Shockley, Jr.
Survivors include two sons; Robert Shockley and wife Grace of Bluefield, WV, and David Shockley and wife Prue of Stuarts Draft, VA, five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shockley will be conducted Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from the Cravens-Shires funeral home chapel with the Rev. James Kestner officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery located in Bluewell, WV. Serving as Pallbearers will be friends and family members. Friends may call Tuesday December 13, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
