Bobby Ray Burgess

Bobby Ray Burgess, age 48, of 540 Pleasant Valley Drive, Princeton, WV, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston. Born on September 8, 1963 in Bethesda, MD, he was a son of Roy Burgess of Bluefield and Susan Sigmon Windle of Princeton. He had been a resident for Princeton for three years and was a former employee of Asplundh Tree Company. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Sigmon; and her uncle Reginald Sigmon. Survivors include in addition to his parents: Son: Bobby Burgess, Jr. of Princeton Daughter: Crystal Blankenship of Ohio Brother: Christopher Burgess of Sandlick Sister: Tabitha Berry and husband Bryan of Meadow Bridge Loving Grandmother: Maxine Sigmon of Bluefield Favorite niece and nephew: Alexis Burgess and Hunter Burgess Aunt and Uncle: Tammy Bailey and husband Ian of Sandlick Uncle and Aunt: Richard Sigmon and wife Julia of Sandlick Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Day officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
