David Dwayne “Midge” King, age 44, of P.O. Box 91, Bluefield, WV died on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born on July 6, 1967 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Beulah Hampton. He had lived in Bluefield his entire life and was a construction worker. In addition to his mother, a brother, Jeffery King; and uncles, Junior and Billy Hampton preceded him in death. Survivors include: Stepsons: Gabriel Byrd of Bassett, VA Jeffery Byrd of Bassett, VA Brothers: Jessie King of Bluewell, WV Richard King of Bluefield, WV Sister: Tammy Hodges of Bluefield, WV Uncle: Jimmy Hampton of Tazewell, VA Aunts: Barbara Belcher and husband Jerry of Falls Mills, VA Joan Moore and husband Vernal of Green Valley, WV Ruth Nelson and husband Bill of Bluefield, WV Carol Rose and husband Johnnie of Bluefield, WV Several nieces and nephews and 2 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew Funeral services will be held on Monday November 28, 2011 at 1:00 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev.
