Thomas Clifton Coeburn

Thomas Clifton “Sonny” Coeburn, Sr., age 62, of Bluefield WV died on Friday, November 11, 2011 at his home. Born in January 28, 1949 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Robert Clifton and Bessie Hicks Coeburn. He had lived in Bluewell for the past 16 years and attended the Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army. He was a truck driver. Survivors: Wife: Thelma I. Lusk of Littlesburg Road, Bluewell, WV Caroline Sue Poore of Frontage Road, Princeton, WV Linda Chambers of Bluefield Sharon Davidson of Lorton Lick Road, Bluewell, WV 1 Grandchild Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Paul Delida officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Bluewell where his family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Military Graveside Honors will be performed by the West Virginia Honor Guard and the mercer County Veterans Council. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
