Nellie Jane Doss

Nellie Jane Murdock Doss, age 73, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Bluefield, WV, died at her residence on Friday, November 11, 2011. Born on January 11, 1938 in Gratton, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Fulton Murdock and Minnie Marie Cochran Murdock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Woodburn and Bessie Belle Murdock; and an infant brother, Charles Murdock. Survivors: Husband of 55 years, Clarence “Bud” Doss Sons: Clarence Doss of Bluefield, WV Randall Doss of Bluefield, WV Daughter: Tammy Kinser and husband Mike of Bluefield, VA Granddaughters: Amanda Kinser of Roanoke, VA Jordan Kinser of Bluefield, VA Grandson: Randall Doss, Jr. of Bluefield, VA Brother: James Robert Murdock of Tazewell, VA Sister: Emma Louise Marshall of Wardale, VA She is also survived by several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Aker officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
