Violet Edna Goins 75 of P.O. Box 373 Bramwell, West Virginia passed away at Bluefield Regional Medical Center on Monday, November 01, 2011; an Angel on Earth spread her wings and entered through the Pearly Gates to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Violet was born on Thursday, November 28, 1935 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Johnny Mitchem and Etta Bennington Mitchem. She had been a member of the Bramwell Wesleyan Church for the past 57 years. She had been a resident of Bramwell, West Virginia for the past 47 years. Left here to cherish her memories is: Her husband of 55 years Roger Goins of Bramwell, West Virginia One Daughter: Alinda Goins Shaffer of Winston-Salem, North Carolina Sons: Roger Dean Goins and wife Sandy of Bramwell, West Virginia Perry Dale Goins and wife Angie of Princeton, West Virginia Her Loving Grandchildren who adored her, Rob Lockhart of Charlotte, North Carolina Misty Lockhart of Walnut Cove, North Carolina Brandon Goins of Bluefield, Virginia Corey Goins of Bramwell, West Virginia who made his home with Roger and Violet Chelsea Goins of Princeton, West Virginia Her great grandchildren: Caleb, Dalton, Nicatie “Ty”, Mikayla, Brittany, Victoria “Tori” and Payton Mother in Law: Velma M. Goins of Bramwell, West Virginia Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 04, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Rev. Gary Conklin officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where Rob Lockhart, Brandon Goins, Dean Miller, Donnie Goins, Danny Hughes and Corey Goins will serve as pallbearers.
