Carter W. Wilson, Jr., age 67, of 245 Park Street, Olanta, SC and formerly of Iaeger, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Carolina Hospital in Florence, SC.
Carter was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1944 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Carter W. Wilson Sr. and Stella Pertee Wilson. Mr. Wilson had been a resident of South Carolina for the past seven years. He was a member of the Church of God and a member of the American Legion. Carter served his country with the U.S. Air force during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Clinton Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
