Richard Lee Pugh, age 77, of Thorn Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 25, 1934 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Charlie and Bessie Lyons Pugh. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a graduate of Beaver High School. He was of the Methodist faith and a former employee of Flowers Bakery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim, William and Ed Pugh; sisters, Hazel Amos, Aileen Forlines, and Louise Tibbs; and his father and mother in law, George S. and Laura M. Angles.

Daughter: Pamela M. Mullins and Ronnie of Bluefield
Son: Richard L. Pugh, II and wife Beth of Bluefield
6 grandchildren: Chris Mullins, Brandon Mullins, Brittini Mullins, Chase Pugh,
Molly Pugh, and Noah Pugh
Great granddaughter: Leah Ashleigh Mullins
Sister: Minnie Taylor of Bluefield
Brother: Jack Pugh of Charlotte, NC
A special brother and sister in law: Kenneth and Deborah Bailey of Falls Mills, VA
Special Nephew, Steve Taylor of Bluefield, WV
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Chris Mullins, Brandon Mullins, Chase Pugh, Ronnie Mullins, Joey Poe, and Kenny Bailey will serve as pallbearers. Noah Pugh will serve as honorary pallbearer.
