Bascum “Leslie” Morgan 72 of Rt. 1 Box 253-B Bluefield, West Virginia (Sandlick) formerly of Gary, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. Leslie was born on Friday, July 07, 1939 in Wilcoe, West Virginia to the late Bascum John and Ollie Finley Morgan. He had been a resident of Mercer County for the past 34 years and was a retired contractor. He was of the protestant faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Rosie Harmon. Survivors Include: His wife: Priscilla Rakes Morgan of the home Four Children: Deborah Mill of Wytheville, Virginia Wesley Morgan of Wytheville, Virginia Joey Morgan of Princeton, West Virginia Pamela Morgan of Princeton, West Virginia Three Brothers: David Morgan of Princeton, West Virginia Elmer Morgan of Tennessee Jack Morgan of Wilcoe, West Virginia Five Sisters: Shirley Lewno of South Dakota Lucille Soto of Havaco, West Virginia Dorothy Brickey of Columbia, South Carolina Mary Brickey of Beckley, West Virginia Marie Hubinak of Welch, West Virginia Seven (7) Grandchildren and Seven (7) Great Grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, West Virginia. Where Mary Brickey and Randall Brickey will be speaking. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where Randall Morgan, Russell Morgan, Dwight Graham, Evan Morgan, Steve Johnston and Daniel Bunn will be serving as pallbearers.
