Thelma Marie Huffman of Box 499 Perdue Hollow Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Glenwood Retirement Village in Glenwood, West Virginia.
Thelma was born on February 27, 1919 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Giles Perdue and Sally Givens Perdue. She had been a resident of Perdue Hollow Road all of her life and was a member of Brushfork United Methodist Church, she was also a member of Quilting Club and Friendship Sunday School Class. Throughout her life Thelma worked as a waitress and homemaker.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Nile Huffman, two sisters Ruby Stinson and Ruth Gibberson and one grandson Ronnie Atkins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Dot Stewart officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
