Dorothy Hester Copley

Dorothy Hester, Copley, age 71, of Northfork Hollow (PO Box 554), Northfork, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on March 22, 1929 in Man, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Minerva Mullins Lester. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Northfork for 20 years. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Copley; a daughter, Tasha Copley and a son, Lee Copley. Survivors include: Sons- Jerry Copley of Worth Ronald Copley of Worth Toney Copley of Princeton Michael Copley of Welch Adam Copley of Princeton Daughters- Rita Trent of Lincolnton, N.C. Sherry Mullins and husband Lonnie Mullins, Jr. of Pulaski, VA Jackie Ellis and husband Darrell of Princeton Crystal Copley of Landgraff Granddaughter whom she raised: Brittany Copley of Northfork Several grandchildren and great grandchildren 1 brother: Earl Lester of TN 1 sister: Shirley Lester of IN Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Kenneth Abram officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
