Loretta Mae Barrett

Loretta Mae Barrett, age 75, of Route 3 Box 549 (Sandlick), Bluefield, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home. Born on February 2, 1936 in Lancaster, OH, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Nina Cook. She had been a lifeloing resident of Sandlick and was of the Holiness faith. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Barrett; and a sister, Sally Cook. Survivors include: Daughter: Patty Barrett of Sandlick 2 sons: Ronnie Primmer of Bluefield Mike Primmer of Bluefield 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren 2 brothers: Eugene Cook of Port Richie, FL Roger Cook of Lancaster, OH Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Darryl Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
