Margaret Ruth Kendrick

Margaret Ruth (Dillon) Moore Kendrick, 89, passed away August 24, 2011 in Alexandria, VA at Sunrise Assisted Living, where she had been a resident since 2006. She was a former resident of Abbs Valley, VA She was born August 29, 1921 in McDowell County., WV and is the last surviving member of her immediate family of nine brother and sisters. She is predeceased by her husbands, Robert W. Moore and Jacob Kendrick, a special son-in-law, Eugene Hall, granddaughter, Eugenia M. Harris and a great-granddaughter Kenadi Tyler. She is survived by her: Son: Robert W. Moore (Joan) of Las Vegas, NV Daughter: Patsy M Hall of Springfield, VA Grandchildren: Kelley P. Tyler (Ben) of Nokesville, VA, Robbie Moore of Columbia, SC Beth Moore of Atlanta, GA She was affectionately known as Nanny to Great- Grandchildren: Jennifer, Erin, Joshua and Nicholas Harris, Mrs Jamie Daniel (Jeff), Zackary Schultz, MacKenzie and Jaxon Tyler. She also leaves three great- great grandchildren, Lucas Miller, Dylan and Layla Daniel, numerous nieces and nephews with special acknowledgement to Ms Mildred Crouse (Junior ( J.T ) of Bluefield, VA Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, VA where Rev. Paul Baker will officiate the service.
