Robert “Junior” Taylor 75, of the West Virginia Manor Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia. Mr. Taylor was born on October 10, 1935 to the late Ola Mae Taylor. And had been a resident of Bluefield all of his life. He formerly worked at Clover Dew Dairy, for S.W. Pruitt and for F.H. Woods as a contract driver for postal service, as an attendant for Elvin Muncey at Red Head Service Station on Bluefield Ave. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two aunts, Mattie Belle Deskins and husband George, Mary Geho and husband Howard, Two Cousins Henry Davis and wife “Boots”, Clifton ‘Buster” Deskins and wife Josephine. Survivors Include: Cousins: Patty Flanagan and husband Jerry of Princeton, WV Debbie Graham and husband Patrick of Christiansburg, VA Virgie Taylor and Margaret Taylor Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Captain Jerry Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
