Marty Wayne Parish

Marty Wayne Parish, age 33, of Ballfield Road, Anawalt, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield. Born on April 17, 1978 in Princeton, he was a son of Tom and Ellen Presley Parish of Anawalt. He had been a resident of Anawalt for most of his life and was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Edna Parish. Survivors include: Parents: Tom and Ellen Presley Parish of Anawalt Son: Ian Justin Parish of Wolfe Sister: Misti Winebarger and husband Jeff of Locust Grove, GA Niece: Ashlee Winebarger Maternal grandparents: John and Frances Presley of Anawalt Girlfriend: Destiny Hassan of Welch and her children, Brenden and Emilyn Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Leckie Pentecostal Holiness Church in Leckie with Pastor Robert Steele officiating. Burial will follow at the Lambert Family Cemetery in Leckie with graveside services being conducted by Bill Parish. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
