Nana Dinger

Nana Bell Virginia Dinger, age 89, of Route 1 Box 475 (Littlesburg Road), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Princeton Health Care in Princeton. Born on February 19, 1922 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Helen Hall Dinger. She had been a resident of Littlesburg Road for most of her life and was a member of the Mowles Chapel Church. She was retired from Cole’s and Purity Bakery after 25 years of service where she worked as a cake decorator. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Kyle, Arless, Ward and Fred Dinger; and one sister, Esther Dinger. Survivors include: One brother: Raymond Dinger and wife Sara of Bluefield Sister: Ella Mae (Polly) Proffitt and husband Ira of Bluefield Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
