Chester “Jerome” Mitchell, age 49, of 380 Echo Way, Princeton, WV passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Ruby Memorial hospital in Morgantown.
Born on November 30, 1961 in Welch, he was a son of Nora Elva Mitchell Jackson. He had been a resident of Princeton for 10 years and had formerly worked for Joy Manufacturing in Bluefield, VA.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Lula Mitchell.

Sister in law: Barbara Vance and Ferrell, whom he called his best friend and brother of Princeton
Nieces: Alane Carol Vance of Princeton
Katherine Matney of Johnson City, TN
A host of aunts, uncles, and cousins
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Jeff Stacy and Speakers Rodney Matney and Randy Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Tom Sparks Cemetery on Bradshaw Mountain in Bradshaw with Ferrell Vance, Danny Rife, Shawn Kennedy, Mark Keen, Willie McKenzie and David McKenzie serving as pallbearers.
