David Edward Kolb

David Edward Kolb, age 20, of 223 Preston Street, Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on June 29, 1991 in Princeton, he was a son of Robert and Tammie Wright Kolb. He had lived in Bluefield and Montcalm his entire life and was a graduate of Montcalm High School. He was an employee of Kroger. Survivors include: Parents: Robert and Tammie Kolb of Bluefield, WV Maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. James Wright of Rock, WV Brother: Anthony Kolb and wife Kara of Bluefield, WV Sisters: Joann Kolb of Spanishburg, WV Heather Kolb of Bluefield, WV Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell at 3:00 p.m. with Captin Jerry Lester, Rev. David Kirby and Rev. Fred Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Pallbearers include Michael Woods, William Woods, Steve Evans, Roger Woods, Eric Woods, Steve Evans, Justin Perry, Michael Carroll, and Blake Newman, Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
