Wilma June Brown, age 82, of 700 Garland Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Glenwood Park Retirement Village.
Born on May 16, 1929 in Elkhorn, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha Sage Sheets. She had been a resident for Princeton for 22 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Brown; and sisters, Ruth Pruitt, Betty Lester, Margaret Dalton, and Martha Sheets.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Darrell Church officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Kenneth Brown, Michael Brown, Roger Brown, Eddie Thornton, and Jack Hurd will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00-12:00 at the funeral home.
