Betty Jane Hambrick

Betty Jane Hambrick 82 of Hurricane Ridge Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away Friday, July 29, 2011. She was born on July 27, 1929 in Bluefield, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Elizabeth Ethel Hager Holt. Betty was retired from New Method and Bluefield Cleaners where she worked for over 40 years Betty was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hambrick, three sisters Myrtle Pennington, Mamie Smith and Stella Compton. Survivors Include: One Son: Jeffery Holt of Bluefield Step Son: Jimmy Hambrick of Bluefield Sister: Ruby Compton of Bluewell Six Grandchildren: Barbie, Brandy, Eric, Robin, Nicole and Thomas Holt Seventeen Great Grandchildren: Marquis, Brittany, Lee, Lindsey, Jason, Ethan, Xavier, Christene, Aiden, Drake, Arron, Brian, Seth, Michael, Katelyn, Breanna and Lilly. Several Nieces and nephews Good Friend: Ann Roten Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 02, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Rev. James Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
