BLUEFIELD, WV---Janet Gail Anderson, age 66, of 132 Tree Top Lane Bluefield, WV passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at her residence. Born November 2, 1944 in Bluefield, WV she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel Honaker Cochrane. Mrs. Anderson was a resident of the Bluefield area most of her life where she was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Anderson. Survivors include One son, Mark Murphy and wife Deborah of Princeton, WV One daughter, Rebecca Pilkins of Bluefield, WV Three brothers, Jim Honaker and wife Janet of Bluefield, WV Bobby Cochrane and wife Linda of Princeton, WV Joe Cochrane and wife Susan of Richmond, VA Three sisters, Brenda Compton and husband Donald of Bluefield, WV Kathy McCready of North Wilkesboro, NC Faye Collins of Norton, VA Sister-in-law, Stella Cochrane Tate of Blountville, TN Four Grandchildren, David Pilkins II, Monica Pilkins, Robert Evans, and Crystal Wellman and husband Danny. Two Great-grandchildren, Dalyn Bethel and Haleigh Murphy Special friend Ed Piedmont of Claypool Hill, VA Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday July 15, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Daniel Gunnoe officiating. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery Bluefield, WV. Friends may call Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
