Jody Lee Popp

Jody Lee Popp, age 39, of Route 4 Box 280-A, Bluefield, WV, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Born on July 21, 1971 in Bluefield, he was a son of Sandra Popp of the home and the late John David Popp, Sr. He attended Bramwell Elementary and High School and was of the protestant faith. He was a devoted son and was a very caring person who always thought of others and will be sadly missed. Survivors include: Mother: Sandra Popp of the home Brothers: David Popp, Sr. and wife Debbie of Milton John Popp, Jr. of Wolfe Sisters: Susan Collins and friend James Roland of Princeton Lisa Davis of Bluefield Several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Jackson Collins, III of Wolfe Brother in laws: Jackson Collins, Jr. of Wolfe Lee Davis of Pocahontas, VA Sister in law: Jackie Popp of Nemours Grandmother: Ruth Popp of Wolfe Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield with Pastor Charlie Neal of Nemours Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the Coal Miner’s Section of Woodlawn Memorial Park before 12:00 Noon on Monday.
