Jackie Gross

BLUEFIELD, WV---Jackie G. Gross, age 65, of Lorton Lick Road, (PO Box 183, Montcalm), Bluefield passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her residence. Born July 23, 1945 at Bluefield she was the daughter of the late Jess and Dora Ruble. Ms. Gross was a resident of the Bluewell area for 50 years. She was a Homemaker and attended the Lorton Lick Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gross; two brothers, Dewey Ruble and Kenneth Ruble; three sisters, Margaret Garrison, Mable Salyers, and Shirley Shepherd. Survivors include: One son, James Davis and wife Vona of Montcalm, WV whom she made her home with. Two daughters, Tina Davis Epperson and husband Greg of Falls Mills, VA Drema Davis Francis of Welch, WV Two grandchildren, John L. Lewis III and wife Megan of Mullens, WV Erin Lewis Jennings and husband Brandin of Montcalm, WV Two great-grandchildren, Olivia Lewis of Mullens, WV and Isabel Lewis of Montcalm, WV Three sisters, Bobbi Repass of Princeton, WV Wilma Thompson of Bluefield, VA Maxine Walker of Princeton, WV Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 2, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens Bluefield, VA. Friends may call Friday July 1, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. John L. Lewis III, Stephen Fitzpatrick, Calvin Hubble, Dale Fitzpatrick II, Jason Snuffer will serve as pallbearers. Raymond Dinger will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
