Mary Magline (Maggie) Haynes Snapp Crews, age 78, of 701 Harrison Street, Princeton, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at her residence. Born on June 30, 1932 in Widemouth, WV, she was a daughter of the late Qunice and Nannie Abshire Haynes. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Snapp, Sr.; her second husband, Alvin Bernard Crews, 2 brothers, Thurman and Sherman Haynes; and a sister, Leanza Cline. Survivors include her: Children: Vickie Williamson and Larry of Monroe, NC Mary Clark and Danny of Hinton Barbara Johnson and Ed of Alexandria, VA Patricia Akers and David of Cashmere Robert Snapp, Jr. and Debbie of Lithia, FL Terry Garten of the home Rhonda Thornton and Eddie of Princeton 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren 2 brothers: Clyde Haynes of PA Herman “Speedy” Haynes of MD 2 sisters: Pauline Hill of Dublin, VA Maxine White of Radford, VA Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and the family will receive friends to celebrate and remember her life on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 3:00-4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children Hospital, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
