Jackie Lee Overton, Sr.

Jackie Lee Overton, Sr., age 64, of Route 3 Box 840, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 at a Princeton hospital. Born on March 6, 1947 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Eugene (Peas) and Elizabeth Cecil Overton. He had been a resident f Bluefield for 6 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a welder by trade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Roxie Brown and Lonnie Dale Overton. Overton and Elizabeth of Brushfork Donald Overton and Sheila of Statesville, NC Raymond Overton and Barbara of Rock Many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with rev. Terry Wyatt officiating. Honoring his wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
