Junior Charles Jones

Junior Charles Jones, age 84, of P.O. Box 193 Montcalm, WV (Cobb Avenue) died on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Hospital. Born on January 12, 1927 in McComas, he was a son of the late Ernest Eugene and Minnie Perdue Jones. He had lived in Mercer County his entire life and was a retired coal miner with 35 ½ years of service. He was a UMWA member and a member of the Church in Jesus Name. Survivors include: Wife of 60 years: Betty Cleary Jones of the home Son: Nick Jones of Walkertown, NC Daughters: Della Perkins and son-in-law Stan of Bluefield, WV Shelia Smith of Charlotte, NC Sisters: Doris Evans of Princeton, WV Shirley Evans of Princeton, WV 4 Grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild A private burial service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
