Donald Lee Crigger

Donald Lee Crigger, age 58, of Upland, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at a Welch hospital. Born on December 17, 1952 in Switchback, he was a son of Virginia Roberts of Springfield, MO and adoptive parents, the late John Henry and Effie Johnson Crigger. He had been a resident of Upland since 1999 and attended the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam. Survivors include: Wife: Willetta Keen Crigger of the home Children: Donna Crigger Ewing and Jack of Springfield, MO Stephen Scott Crigger of Upland Gary Wayne Crigger and wife Dawn Michelle Williams Crigger of Princeton Grandchildren: Rachelle Marie Rasmussen, Johnny and Joey Ewing. Brothers: Donald Eugene Crigger of Gilliam Monroe Crigger of Switchback Dale Price of Washington State Johnny Price of Princeton Terry Price of Coaldale Sisters: Sandra Cochran of Switchback Charlotte Rosa of Osegeo, IL Bernetta Boze of Springfield, MO Elsie Gibson of Sparta, NC A host of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where the WV Honor Guard and the Mercer County Veterans Council will conduct military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
