ECKMAN, WV--- Robert Floyd Thomas, age 81, of PO Box 91 Eckman, WV passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born June 15, 1929 at Pocahontas, VA he was the son of the late Edward Lewis and Nellie Clark Thomas. He was preceded in death by Four sisters, Jean Thomas, Mary Thomas, Mona Thomas, and Cheermae Clark; Two brothers, Joe Lewis Thomas and Junie Thomas. Survivors include, Three sons, Robert Thomas of Eckman, WV Floyd Thomas, of Bluefield, WV Ben Thomas of Bluefield, WV Four daughters, Angela Lambert and husband Leon of Bluewell, WV Veronica Thomas Bluefield, WV Jamie Thomas of Bluefield, WV Laura Thomas of Bluefield, WV Several other sons and daughters One brother, James Thomas and wife Phyllis of Bluewell, WV One sister, Loretta Thomas Whitfield and husband Jerome of Huntington, WV Many Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and Great-great grandchildren Also left to cherish his memory is his ex-wife, Phyllis Gravely Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Bill Belcher officiating.
