Deborah Kay Keen, age 59, went home to be with her Savior on March 25, 2011 in Delaware, Ohio with family at her side. She was born November 21,1951 at Northfork, West Virginia to the late Kermit W. and Beulah L. Dillard. She attended Iaeger High School and Bluefield State College where she received a BA degree. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 39 years, Richard J. Keen, son Brian W. Keen of Bluefield, West Virginia and daughters Heather L. Meadows of Delaware, Ohio and Lyndsay A. Tilley(Daniel) of Bluefield, West Virginia. She also had six adoring grandchildren, Brandon, Christian, Madison, Cassidy, Jaylen, and Jacob. She is also survived by two sisters Brenda J. deGarbolewski,(Ed) of Earlsville, Maryland and Dreama C. Butcher,(Rodney) of Bluefield, West Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Deborah K. Keen will be conducted at 11am Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Pastor Darrell Long officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Bluewell, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm-8pm, Tuesday March 29, 2011. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in Deborah's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
