Nancy L. Patton

NARROWS, Va. — Nancy L. Patton, age 72, of 205 Roma Road, North Tazewell, Va., passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on November 23, 1938 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Rosa Ellen Lambert. She had been a resident of North Tazewell for most of her life and attended the Springville Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Patton; two sisters, Betty Wilcox and Edna Nelson; and two brothers, Jimmy and Emmett Lambert. Survivors include three sons, Andy Patton of Bluefield, Va., Michael Patton and wife Kim of Bluefield, Va., Todd Patton and wife Polly of Springville, Va.; three grandchildren, Abby Asbury, Bree Patton, and Phillip Patton; one brother, D.K. Lambert and wife Robin of Princeton; nephew and caregiver, Danny Nelson of Bluefield. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Johnny Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
