Geneva Mildred Butt

Geneva Mildred Butt, age 89, of PO Box 25, Nemours, WV, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on April 22, 1921 in Jenkinjones, she as a daughter of the late Roy and Gracie Williams Jessee. She was a member of the Jenkinjones Methodist Church and formerly worked in the offices for Pocahontas Fuel. She was a graduate of Gary High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Wade “Rink” Butt, Sr. , a son, Austin Wade Butt, Jr., and a grandson, Timothy Butt. Survivors include: Son: Roy Butt and wife Susan of Nemours 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. D. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
