Marvin Edward Moore

Marvin Edward Moore, age 75, of PO Box 167 (Carswell Hollow), Kimball, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at his residence.   Born on March 30, 1935 in Maitland, he was a son of the late Woodson and Rachel Arnold Moore. He had been a resident of Kimball for 40 years and was a retired coal miner for Cannelton Coal Corp. in Superior. He was a member of UMWA and had worked for 40 years. He was of the Protestant faith.   He was preceded in death by his former wife, Cora Irene Moore; a son, Freddy; and a daughter, Sandy.   Survivors include:   Son:       Marvin E. Moore, Jr. of Kimball   Daughter:            Sherry Ann Moore of Roanoke, VA   7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren   2 Brothers:          Billy Moore of Big Four, WV                                 Jackie Moore of Big Four, WV   Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Douglas Williams officiating.
