Carolyn Sue Harmon

Carolyn Sue Harmon, age 61, of Rt. 2, Box 258, Rock, WV died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at her residence.Born on September 21, 1949 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Perdue Lewis . She had been a resident of Rock for the past 8 months and was a retired dietician. She was a loving mother and grandmother.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Harmon and a daughter, Heather Craft.Survivors:Sons: Daniel Harmon, Jr. and wife Maxine of Bolt, WV Elmer Harmon and wife Jennifer of Spanishburg, WVDaughter: Madeline Asbury and husband Charles of Rock, WVBrothers: Doug Lewis, Dale Lewis, and Jeffrey Lewis all of OhioSisters: Shirley Moritz of Ohio 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren Best Friend: Mary Childers of Bluefield, VA as well as a host of friendsFuneral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Charlie Farmer and Rev. Bobby Koen officiating. Her last resting place will be the Shillings Cemetery on Browning-Lambert Mountain.
