Frances Shrader

Frances (Lake) Shrader 90 of Princeton Health Care formerly of Bluefield, WV passed away on Saturday, March 05, 2011. Born August 15, 1920 in Littlesburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Thurmond and Alice (Scarberry) Hambrick. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Shrader and Two sons Richard Arnold Shrader and Thomas Wayne Shrader. Four Brothers; Willie Hambrick, Carlyle Hambrick, J.T. Hambrick and Harry Hambrick. One sister Nellie Hambrick Bailey one son in law Bobby Blevins and a grandson James Edward Shrader and great grandchildren Stephanie and Kayla Bailey. Survivors Include: One son: James and wife Carol Shrader of Bluefield, WV Three Daughters: Frances and husband Gene Prater of Loganville, GA Euna Blevins of North East, MD Charlene and husband Doug Belcher of Louisville, TN Special Grandson: Dennis and wife Shonda Shrader of Bluefield, WV whom she helped raise One Brother: Harold Hambrick of Bluefield, WV Three Sisters: Genevieve Shrader of Denver, CO Sylvia Proffitt of Hutchinson, KS Emogene Purvey of Charleston, SC And several nieces and nephews 8 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild Graveside rites will be held on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV with the Rev. Tim Lacy officiating the graveside rites. Burial will follow were Roger Bailey, Doug Belcher Sr., Doug Belcher Jr., Thomas Shrader, Justin Belcher and Michael Prater will serve as pallbearers. Friends, family and those wishing to attend the graveside rites may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.
