Carl Edward Lawson

Carl Edward Lawson, Jr., age 43, of 368 Buckeye Hollow Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his residence. Born on April 20, 1967 in Bluefield, he was a son of Jennifer Hutchens Clark of Bluefield, VA and the late Carl E. Lawson, Sr. He had been a resident of Princeton for 5 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had a passion for automobiles. He enjoyed cleaning and detailing cars. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Lynn Lawson; and grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Lawson and Margaret and McKinley Hutchens. Survivors include: Mother and stepfather: Jennifer Hutchens Clark and Michael of Bluefield, VA Wife: Ida “Sissy” Bircham Lawson of Princeton 3 sons: Cody Lee Lawson, Dustin Michael Lawson, and Brandon Fields, all of Princeton 2 sisters: Carla Kaye Robinson and husband Dana of Bluefield, VA Mary Addair Summers and husband Michael Kevin of Bluefield A host of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Ryan and Zack Addair, Justin Tabor, Michael Clark, Robbie Nelson, and Paul Nelson will serve as pallbearers.
