Larry Keith Hurst 60, of Rt. 1 Box 368-A Bluefield, WV passed away at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Larry was born on November 07, 1950 in Bluefield, WV to Yvonne Legg Hurst and the Late Chester “C.M.” Hurst. Larry was a graduate of Montcalm High School in 1968 and served his country in the National Guard. He worked as an electrician for U.S. Steel in Gary, WV and was a firefighter for the city of Bluefield, WV. He was also the owner and operator of Seminole Fire Suppression. In addition to his father Larry was preceded in death by one son Joshua Keith Hurst Survivors Include: His wife: Linda Kessinger Hurst of the home Mother: Yvonne Legg Hurst of Bluefield, WV One Daughter: Amanda Maria Hurst of Beckley, WV One Sister: Lani Crane and husband Kevin of Bluefield, WV Nieces: Kellie and Maranda Crane Special Nephew and best buddy Landon Crane Funeral service will be held for Larry on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with the Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where Scott Craft, Carlyle Parcell, Danny Gaither, Ted Kessinger Jr., Ernie Rickman and Raymond Fagg Jr. Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to Larry’s service on Sunday.
