Carnes M. Webb

From: Cravens-Shires Carnes M. Webb, Sr. went to be with the LORD on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He died at Bluefield Regional Hospital following an illness with his heart. Born in Montcalm, he was a son of the late Paul and Bertha Mabe Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Dawn Webb. He was a lifelong resident of Montcalm and was a faithful member and trustee of the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork. He was a retired coal miner having worked for the Eastern and Bluestone Coal Mines. He was a UMWA member with 30 years of service in the mines. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding and rode horses most of his life. He will be sadly missed by all his family, church, friends and buddies. Those left to cherish his memory are: His wife of 53 years: Patricia (Patty) Repass Webb of the home Sons: Carnes (Junior) Webb, Jr. and wife Barbara of Nashville, TN Ernest (Butch) Webb and wife Tanya of Montcalm, WV Daughters: Debbie Neely and husband Ron of Given, WV Pamela (Pam) Lambert of High Point, NC Sandra Shott and husband Danny of Bluefield, WV Sister: Dolores Linkous of Raleigh, NC Brothers: Douglas Webb and wife Sandy of Arizona Kenneth Webb and wife Kathy of Union, WV Lawrence Webb of Herndon, WV 8 grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork with Pastor David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brandon McKinney, Steven Webb, Cory Neely, Jerry Bowman; and friends, Pete Day, Buford Myers, and Dave Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Zachary Webb and Gary Miles and friends, Jimmy Miles and W.D. Wellman. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-9 PM at the Deliverance Temple Church.
