Hattie Marie Lacy

Bluefield, WV- Hattie Marie Lacy, 89, of Rt. 3 Box 682 (Lorton Lick Rd)., Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday January 6, 2011 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village at Glenwood, WV. Mrs. Lacy was born January 13, 1921 in McComas, WV ,she was a daughter of the late Jim and Trula Perkins Davidson. Mrs. Lacy had been a resident of Bluefield for 59 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell. In addition to her parents Mrs. Lacy was preceded in death by her husband; Fred L. Lacy and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include; two daughters, Judy Lacy Riffe and husband Dallas of Lexington, SC, and Joyce Lacy Burkett and husband Sam of Bluefield, VA, four grandchildren; Melissa Burkett and husband Todd Suralik of Sterling, VA, Greg Burkett and wife Kara of Mooresville, NC, Brenda Riffe Powell and husband Shane of Lexington, SC, Shelby K. Riffe Puckett and husband Jason of Lexington, SC, five great-grandchildren; Greta Rena Burkett, Jake Burkett, Walker Puckett, Ryan Suralik, and Khloe Powell, a brother; Raymond Davidson of IN, and a sister; Louise Davis and husband John of Princeton, WV. Funeral services for Mrs. Lacy will be conducted from the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV Sunday January 9, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
