Louise Parker

Louise A. Parker, age 86, of Route 4 Box 532 (Warden Avenue), Bluefield, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield. Born on February 22, 1924 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Lefler Tyree. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 65 years and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Conley, Paul, Lee, Frank and Henry Tyree. Survivors include: Husband of 68 years: Hershal Parker 3 sons: Jerry Parker of Wyoming County Daran Parker of Charlotte, NC Tim Parker and wife Cyndi of Bluewell 5 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Jackie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 11:30-1:30 at the funeral home.
