Rocky Dwayne Goodwin , age 41, of Route 2 Box 430, Rock, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on May 31, 1969 in Havre De Grace, MD, he was a son of Brenda Blevins Goodwin of Rock and David Paul Goodwin of Elkton, MD. He had been a resident of Rt. 2, Rock for 28 years. Survivors in addition to his parents include: 2 brothers: David James Goodwin of Montcalm Billy Joe Goodwin of Bluefield, VA 1 sister: Robyn Ann Oxford and husband David Wayne Oxford of Tazewell, VA 2 nieces: Courtney and Kaitlyn Oxford Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Spencer Oxford officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where David Oxford, Jackson Blevins, Bill Simpson, Jr., Doug Williams, Jr., Randy Taylor Dwayne Taylor, and Mike Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
