Stanley C. Lockhart

Stanley C. Lockhart, age 45, of P.O. Box 662, Welch, WV, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Welch Community Hospital due to respiratory failure. Born on June 15, 1964, in Ieager, WV at Clark Clinic, he was a son of Cecil F. and Helen Cline Lockhart of Welch.He was a graduate of Mount View High School. He was a disabled bus driver. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.S. and Rosetta Lockhart; Lec and Vicie Lester Cline; and a brother, Stephen C. Lockhart of Charlotte, NC. Survivors in addition to his parents include: Brother: Brian K. Lockhart of Welch, WV Sister: Sharon White and boyfriend William “Bill” Davis of Morgantown, WV Nieces: Cinthia Petitte and husband Joe Stephanie White Candi Turner Great-Niece: Ava Isabella Petitte Great-Nephew: Ozma Bean Very Special Sister-in-Law: Virginia Lockhart of Charlotte, NC Special friends: Clyde, Audrey, Justin, and Nicholas Bailey of Princeton, WV Lucille Soto who was his pastor Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Lucille Soto officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Pallbearers will be Bobby Bowman, Don Baker, Jimmy Hamilton, Jack Lee, Clyde Bailey, Alvin Cline and Special Friend Teddie Bishop of Gary. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
