Raymond Wesley Shaw, age 82, of 510 Gayle Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Loving Hands Adult Care in Green Valley.
Born on January 17, 1928 in Switchback, he was a son of the late Roscoe Robe and Mary Louise Mitchell Shaw. He had been a lifelong resident of McDowell and Mercer counties and attended the Fairview Christian Community Church. He was a retired coal miner with US Steel and was a member of the UMWA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Raymond Shaw; 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
